We love DJ Byrd Productions! He was on time for my daughter’s Sweet 16, even though we experienced a snowstorm that morning. A true professional from start to finish, he was always accessible and could easily be reached to discuss things from song choice to itinerary. He was loaded with good ideas for our party, which we implemented on the spot like singing happy birthday to the birthday girl after her Sweet 16 candle lighting. And the entire audience from teen to adult and even the bartenders were bumping to his music. We had calypso, reggaeton, hip hop, rap, old music 1990s, young music, he played it all! Watch his videos and book him asap, you won’t be disappointed!

I wanted to say that I was very happy and grateful for my selection in using Hamilton Byrd DJ company for my granddaughter Sweet 17th it was a blast beautiful and she and her friends danced all night. We had a giant outdoor party with over 200 people with lots of kids. DJ Byrd was amazing!!!! The music got people dancing all night and never wanting it to end. The photo booth set up was amazing and we got copies off all the pics digital and in the strips. We even had a bubble machine for the little kids and they could not get enough. DJ Byrd was unavailable due to a prior booking. He sent his partner instead. His partner was energetic, he kept the crowd very engaged. He had a wide variety of music that kept everyone on the dance floor.

DJ Byrd is the BEST DJ in the Northeast! He kept our wedding reception dancing all night. Everything was perfect from the ceremony to the reception, the music and lights. He put together a beautiful slide show with all the photos and music we requested. He also brought a photo booth and we can tell our guests, and the bride and groom, had a world of fun. DJ Byrd is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! He will bring sunshine and smiles to your planning and your event. His rates are great – you will not get a better value for your money. On a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the best, I wish I could rate him 100!

We very much enjoyed working with Hamilton on our 50th high school reunion. From the beginning, when he supplied us with a reference from another reunion committee that worked with him, to the process of songs to play and photos to choose for our video, he was helpful and went above and beyond.

I have been going to see Jordan for over a year due to a neck injury. He was an amazing therapist not only treating my neck but also treating my concussion. When I broke my arm there was no one else I would see except for him. He is professional and extremely knowledgeable and explained everything so I could understand. I must say that it was a pleasure to have Mr. Byrd at My daughter’s High School Graduation Celebration. I contracted with Mr. Byrd to provide Photo Booth services. First, he arrived early early and set up before my guests arrived. Second, it poured down raining and I was a bit upset but Mr. Byrd assured me that everything would be alright. Great Dj My wife and I hired DJByrdProductions for our wedding. We can say he did a great as a DJ and also did a great job with taking requests from our guests. He also did a great job as a host and doing introductions for our wedding party and such. Only reason he lost 1 star was because a few times myself and the guests noticed the songs would skip and sometimes the volume would get too loud or too soft, and one time near the end the sound completely went out due to a technical malfunction, but it was fixed in less than 1 minute. I also wished we were able to meet with him in person before the wedding as we felt there was a personal level missing from the DJ and the audience.

DJ Byrd is awesome! He played for our Karaoke Fellowship last evening and made our event tons of fun, and really special and memorable!To begin with, he returned my initial call promptly, and was very pleasant and professional. He arrived on time for our meeting at the venue. From the moment I met him, I knew he was the DJ for us! In planning for our Karaoke event and party for our group, I–of course–wanted to be certain that everything would go smoothly, and be enjoyable for all. DJ Byrd, a seasoned professional, walked me through our event flow, answered all my questions, and made great suggestions. He worked very well with the venue owner and staff, too; I was impressed.
DJ Byrd responded to my calls and emails without delay. He is very well-organized. When our guests arrived, everything was all set up and ready to go, with the music flowing. Prior to the event, he discussed music to play during breaks, so in between Karaoke singers, everyone was singing, dancing, and enjoying the background music. He has an extensive music library in a wide variety of genres. The Karaoke songs were organized in two massive binders. It was really easy for everyone to find songs to sing to. Our venue had a projection system, and DJ Byrd brought extra monitors and microphones, which was really great! He kept us energized all night!After our last Karaoke singer had sung, and it was time to leave, DJ Byrd played a song that everyone “grooved to” as they were leaving. Let me start by saying: Hamilton is THE MAN. My wife and I were trying to find a DJ within our (relatively modest for NYC) wedding budget so we took a chance by using thumbtack. DJ Hamilton Byrd had good reviews so we said ‘why not?’ and hired him for the reception. We are so glad we did.
We could not have asked for a better experience. Hamilton asked me to send him a list of song requests beforehand to get a sense of what we like and I sent him separate lists for the cocktail hour/dinner portion of the night and the dancing portion – Hamilton then crafted separate playlists for each that PERFECTLY captured the vibe we wanted. There was also a nice flow to the music that corresponded to how laid back –> rowdy people got throughout the evening. All of our friends and family danced like crazy and had a blast. He also handled the MC duties which went great.Overall, Hamilton was friendly, fun, and a total professional. This was a relatively low-budget wedding in NYC and his fee was much more affordable in contrast to other DJs in the area, which we really appreciated

Quinceanera It was wonderful working with DJ Byrd. He was fun and easy to talk to and made sure to find songs that would suit the occasion and your taste in music. If you want to play any other songs, you could easily approach him and he smiled throughout the party making all the guests want to smile. He even does lighting and karaoke, everyone loved it. Best Sweet 16 ever! Definitely would want to work with him again.

DJ Byrd handled the music for our wedding on June 25th, 2016. His involvement though was more than just showing up and spinning some records. DJ Byrd took great care to make sure that my wife and I had plenty of input in the process. DJ Byrd helped us celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary at L’Affaire Fine Catering in Mountainside, NJ. It was a four hour event and he provided the music, slide show, and light show.

Extremely professional from the moment I booked, Hamilton Byrd followed up and asked for a play list, prepared for the event of my twin teenagers birthday party. Extensive play list, impressive equipment, huge monitor and powerful speakers. It was 30 teenagers who danced from the moment to the party started until the end of the night. It was the best party ever and it was DJ Byrd Productions that made it! I will be booking them for many more parties and events.

I am soooooooo happy to report that this was my first fundraiser and the first time that I hired a DJ/Karaoke professional and I could not have had a better experience. DJ Bird went above all expectations. He furnished amazing equipment including huge speakers, a huge screen for karaoke, the biggest selection of recordings that I have seen and his own lighting which really made a difference since the venue was a little dingy. He was a total professional and very accommodating. He met with me before the event and followed up with me to give him any requests or a play list… All of the guests had a great time and I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.

My wedding reception was amazing thanks to Hamilton Bryd! The music was perfect and everyone danced all night long. Communicating my preferences for the ceremony also was a breeze. He knew exactly what I wanted and executed everything to perfection! Thanks again for a memorable night!!!!

Mr. Byrd was the DJ at my daughters Sweet Sixteen party and he did a fabulous job. He was able to get the teens all out on the dance floor. He arrived at my venue ahead of schedule and played music for the full 4 hours. I was so nervous and worried about hiring a DJ on line and this was the best experience I have ever had. He was excellent and had a range of music and was very professional. His equipment and lights were amazing. I would recommend this DJ to anyone. His fees are very reasonable for the service that you receive.

It was an employee beach party and a most pleasant experience. Hamilton is full of enthusiasm and got the crowd going.
